I was determined to flourish

- HENRY KAUFMAN -

OUR STORY

In 2012, Henry Kaufman was suddenly paralyzed in both arms and legs by Guillain-Barre Syndrome. After fighting to recover at least some of his mobility—and not one to be sidelined from the active and engaged life he was used to living—Henry looked for new ways to do the things he enjoyed.

Disappointed by the options available, Henry founded Mobella™ along with his wife Meryl. Their goal was to put beautiful design at the center of every Mobella innovation, partnering with world-class designers and fellow inventors from within our community. Together, they reimagined what mobility products should be--stylish yet functional solutions that better and more boldly represent the people they're made for.

The Afari™ is just the first product from Mobella, with several other exciting innovations in the works. If you've got a product or design idea we should know about, email us at hello@gomobella.com.

We’d love to hear from you.
